A German man was charged Thursday with trying to extort $100,000 from former supermodel Cindy Crawford and her entrepreneur husband Rande Gerber over a photo of their daughter bound to a chair and gagged It is reported that neither Crawford nor Gerber knew about the photo and did not consent to any photo being taken of their daughter; the nanny, whose name has not been released, has not been charged. She was fired a week before a German man, Edis Kayala, 26, called the couple, according to court papers filed Thursday by the FBI and the U.S. attorney's office and described by the TV station. Court documents report that Kayala stole the photo from the nanny and repeatedly sought to get money from Crawford and Gerber, starting in July. Nicolas Cage is in Money Troubles

Despite being able to command about $20 million a movie, actor Nicolas Cage is in serious money trouble. The actor's New Orleans homes, each valued at about $3.5 million, are hitting the auction block on November 12th, NOLA.com reports. The homes had about $5.5 million in unpaid mortgage debt on them, the site said.So what happened? Cage believes his former business manager had something to do with it. The actor is suing Samuel Levin for leading him "down a path toward financial ruin," according to TMZ.com. Cage asked for $20 million in damages in the lawsuit. Cage alleges that his manager was reckless with his money, including doing such things as not paying taxes, which is the reason Cage now owes more than $6 million in unpaid taxes and is now trying to sell off many of his real estate holdings, including his castle in England and a home in Hollywood.Nicolas Cage may not be broke but the actor owes $6.6 million in back taxes and suing his former business manager of eight years.

Anna Nicole Smith died with a toxic level of the sleeping medication chloral hydrate in her system. The ENQUIRER and Star have also learned that Anna Nicole had a raging blood infection. The infection was caused by an unsterilized needle and contributed to her death. Contrary to speculation, tests show Anna Nicole did not have methadone or any other painkilling drug in her system at the time of her death. The ENQUIRER learned that just before she left the Bahamas for Florida Anna Nicole received an injection in her left buttock. Tests did not reveal what that substance was. "As she boarded the plane for Miami, Anna Nicole developed a painful abscess at the site of the injection," said a source with knowledge of the case. From Miami, Anna Nicole and her live-in lawyer Howard K. Stern traveled to Hollywood, Fla. The pain from the abscess became excruciating and Anna Nicole developed a high fever of 105. Anna Nicole, unaware that her blood was being poisoned by infection, had also developed a second infection from a virulent form of norovirus, which causes intestinal problems. It was at this point that Anna Nicole — and her entourage — made a fatal mistake. She refused to go to a hospital, a decision that would have saved her life.
